Born in Athens, the year 1982, in a family of artists and craftsmen. Descendant of a long line of nobles, varying from merchants, artists, soldiers, shipowners, landlords etc.
Grandson of the universally recognized visual artist, Christos Christides. He exposed his drawing talent from an early age. Learned the basics of drawing, color, aesthetics and composition from his grandfather. He studied graphic design and illustration at the Athenian College of Fine and Applied Arts (AKTO).
However, it was not until the age of 23 that he started advanced drawing and painting. Through the years he became a versatile visual artist, using both traditional and contemporary techniques and visual styles. Mastered the drawing techniques of the pencils, colored pencils, pastels, gouache, watercolor and acrylics. Researched and used the ancient skiagrafia technique, invented by the great maestro of antiquity Apollodorus of Athens. Thus, he earned his first name. He is also, a History and Greek philosophy scholar, a desire of constant learning he inherited from his grandfathers.
